Telematic conference at Stony Brook University

I just returned from a conferenced on network music at Stony Brook organized by Sarah Weaver called Network Music: Artistic and Technological Strategies for Public and Private Networks, where I presented a new paper on telematics (working towards an essay to publish eventually…) and performed/presented as part of a group panel organized with Sarah, Mark Dresser, Matthias Ziegler, Benjamin Burger and Joel Di Giovanni. It was great to meet some new people at the conference and especially cool to finally hang out in person with Ben and Joel, two incredible young video artists who we’ve worked with numerous times, starting with their inspiring work on the Virtual Tour concerts in 2013, but only remotely from California. Thanks to Sarah for all her heroic work pulling off this conference!
